To democratise access to technology and innovation such that Anambra people can learn digital skills, unlock their talents and explore opportunities in the digital economy, the government is establishing Solution Innovation District (SID) mini Hubs in strategic locations in the State to serve as Mini Hubs in partnership with private individuals, schools and communities.
This strategic initiative aligns with the government's commitment to activate, build and scale the innovation ecosystem for the overall development of Anambra State. By extending the reach of SID programs through these mini hubs, the government aims to empower Ndi Anambra with cutting-edge skills, fostering a culture of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
Ms. Chinwe Okoli emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, academia, and the private sector to create an inclusive and vibrant innovation ecosystem. The SID human capacity-building programs are designed to equip Ndi Anambra with the necessary skills to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
As Anambra State progresses towards becoming a creative and digital capital of Nigeria, these efforts to democratize SID mini hubs mark a significant step forward in innovation and technological advancement.
