Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu on Thursday supervised the distribution of free premium motor spirit otherwise known as petrol to over 460 people in Awka North and South Federal Constituency.
Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu, who is the House of Representatives Member for Awka North and South Federal, described the exercise as a way of giving back to the society, especially as most people find it difficult to buy fuel to power their generator sets at home and in their small scale businesses. She expressed willingness to continue pursuing endeavours that would be of benefit to her constituents.
Some of the beneficiaries, in their separate responses, expressed their joy and thanked God for giving them Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu as their Representative at the Federal House of Representatives, while describing the gesture as unprecedented in Awka North and South.
They prayed for more wisdom upon the benefactor to enable her seamlessly ensure quality representation for Ndi Awka North and South Federal Constituency.
