My name is Ambassador Michelle Stephen, My encounter with emeka Ike started when I returned to Nigeria and was living at magodo estate, off cmd or shangisha road Lagos state.
I always watched his movies but didn't know he stays close to the estate.
One day I was going to salon to make my hair, I saw a large crowd gathered even the security of the estate by shangisha road were excited and shouting out to a particular vehicle approaching, then I paused to know what's going on out of curiosity I saw him (emeka Ike) man was so handsome but I only noticed the love from the crowd,he came down from his vehicle and was greeting everyone around them he brought out bundle of money and gave to the crowd as well as the securities.
I was happy seeing such a humble man yet so loved by people.
On getting to the salon which was in front of the gate the hairdressers were speaking well of him and then I heard them say that he owns a school inside the estate and he's so loved by people that people are ready to fight with their lives for him. I made my hair and left.
Few days later, I was going to buy food at a fastfood Infront of the magodo gate, again I saw him and as usual with crowd shouting out to him, again he stopped and greeted everyone before he left.
Wow, I said.
The stories I heard about Emeka Ike from friends that their kids attend his school were all good except for the WIFE who they describe as mean, wicked but looks innocent.
But for emeka Ike it's always good stories of people praising him and how humble and caring he is
Emeka Ike has many houses and properties in Lagos but chose to stay close to one of his houses in shangisha because of his school so he can attend to the needs of the children there at any time of the day, The area boys sing his praises always.
Many times I go to shangisha market to buy things I always saw emeka Ike going home from school and all I see is always
LOVE FROM THE PEOPLE IM THE AREA .
Not once have I heard any negative things about him.
Man is the man of the people and greatly loved.
Fast forward to few years later, when I moved down to asaba Delta State and started my movie production and acting career.
I met so many legends in the industry who I acted alongside and even casted some in my movies
One of the productions I starred in, I acted with Emeka Ike(picture above) Again I was shocked cos I didn't know he's Also in the movie but happy to finally meet him in person after years of seeing him from afar in magodo.
Emeka Ike treated everyone including the crew members as one. He did not discriminate or harsh on anyone as other big actors would do.
Trust me I have acted with many Nollywood legends and casted some in my movies so I know what am saying.
EMEKA IKE was still the man I saw few years ago in magodo, so humble, cheerful, supportive and caring to everyone.
We made jokes, talked like we've known each other before, he helped me with my lines, so many times I feel like am scared cos of the attitude of some other big actors but it's not for emeka Ike, he will teach you and help you out .
We took many pictures, gisted, laughed as well as other artists.
I have shot few other movies with him and have met him in some events outside movies before I decided to face my other talents as movie was taking all of my time that I couldn't face other businesses I have.
Emeka Ike is a good man, he's so humble and nice.
I listened to his wife and son's interview via chude but trust me when I say
" MEN ALSO GO THROUGH ALOT"
NOTE : AM NOT SUPPORTING VIOLENCE But
something must have prompted him to go that way if it's TRUE he did. As for the son "IF" he (emeka Ike) actually said those words then he (the son) must have pushed him to say so.
We have many men that cannot come out to speak their truth because of what online people will say and how they will judge them.
Saint obi (God bless his soul) is dead, many men we don't know about have gone too. Let's also support the ones that are speaking up and not judge them
We, WOMEN are manipulators and culprits but once we come out to the public we speak calmly, look like a good person and talk about violence in the home so we can gain public sympathy but it's not always the case.
Many MEN are dying in silence. MEN'S LIVES MATTERS ✊TOO.
LETS ALSO PROTECT THEM AS WE DO TO WOMEN.
MEN ALSO GO THROUGH VIOLENCE IN THEIR HOMES.
I REST MY CASE ,, DROPS
