Honourable Minister Of Works Sen. (Engr.) Nweze David Umahi,
& Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs). Rachel O. Umahi has Commended the pet project of the Wife of Ebonyi State Governor, Her Excellency, Chief Marry-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, while describes it as a laudable initiative
According to Hon. Minister of Works said, the pet project is the initiative of their Foundation as a progressive actionable step in supporting government’s efforts in building a healthier nation by Ebonyi first lady
This was contained in a Statement signed by Hon . Minister of Works.
Statements reads;
"I acknowledge with profound pleasure the receipt of your invitation to the launch of Your Excellency’s pet project: Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Foundation (BERWO) slated for 15th November, 2023 at the Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki"
"My wife and I appreciate and commend the initiative of your Foundation as a progressive actionable step in supporting government’s efforts in building a healthier nation. Your pet project is critical to the enhancement of the social well-being of the vulnerable, the management of the Internally Displaced Persons and the empowerment of the Rural Women who are indeed key agents for achieving the transformational, economic, environmental and social changes required for sustainable development. This initiative is therefore, expediently appropriate and well suited as a need of the time"
