Member representing the good people of Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu (ADA DI EBUBE) has celebrated the 2023 new yam festival with His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. Joel Mmaduadichie Egwuonwu (EZEUDO II OF UMUAWULU) and the entire people of Umuawulu Community.
Prof. Orogbu in her felicitation message, thanked God Almighty for the good health upon His Royal Majesty Igwe Dr. Joel Mmaduadichie Egwuonwu and the prosperity being witnessed in Umuawulu.
The Lawmaker described yam as one of the most important staple crop in Igboland which, according to her, is very significant in Igbo culture and tradition.
While thanking God for making this year's farm harvest to be bountiful, she prayed for continued blessings upon HRM Igwe Dr. Joel Mmaduadichie Egwuonwu and the good people of the community.
