The Senator representing Ebonyi North district, Distinguished Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi has promised to concretized the entire floor of the motor park and to build lock up shops for National Union of Road Transport Workers
He further assured it's readiness to buy commercial buses and distribute to drivers as a way of empowerment to the union.
Senator Nwebonyi made the Promised when he received in audience, the leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Nwori branch led by Benjamin Nwofoke , who came to pay him Ojiji homage in his country home at Mbeke Ishieke, Ebonyi local government area on Thursday

Speaking, the leader of the group, Mr Nwofoke said they had come to appreciate Senator Nwebonyi for his assistance towards the establishment and refurbishment of the park. He explained that the park is a brainchild of Senator Nwebonyi who not only established it but beautified it to enviable standard.
Responding, Distinguished Senator Nwebonyi commended the group for their solidarity and prayers, while pledged to empowered the drivers by way of buying commercial buses to Distributes to them and among other .
In same vein, Senator Nwebonyi received in audience a delegation from Amegu Nduruku, Abakaliki local government area. The group was led by the state AMTO chairman, comrade Nwankwegu Augustine.
According to Nwankwegu said they had come to felicitate the Senator on his overwhelming presence at the Senate noting that he is making Ebonyi state proud. He explained that the Izzi clan and Ebonyi state in general are proud of Senator Nwebonyi’s outstanding performance so far in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly.
Senator Nwebonyi thanked the group for their unalloyed support and fervent prayers which culminated in his landslide victory and sterling performance at the National Assembly. He assured of his total commitment towards rewarding everybody irrespective of political affiliation, kindred, clan or religious denomination.
In a related development, another group led by Dr Sunday Ugbo paid a courtesy visit to the Senator.
In his brief remarks on behalf of the group, Dr Ugbo said they came to show appreciation for all the good deeds Senator Nwebonyi has been doing in their lives. He lauded the Lawmaker on his vibrant and robust legislation while insisting that Ebonyi North zone has never had it so good. Dr Ugbo who was visibly elated revealed that he named his new born baby after Senator Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi in order to cement their relationship.
Receiving the visitors, chief Nwebonyi appreciated them for their kind words and warm sentiments. The Federal lawmaker thanked Dr Ugbo for naming his son after him and prayed God to nurture his namesake to greatness. He noted that he is committed to sponsoring people-oriented bills that will impact positively on the masses. He further reassured them of rolling out empowerment scheme which will capture people from all endeavours and class.
