Ebonyi State Governor Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has sworn in 21 newly appointed Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistant,while assuring his readiness to surmount all the security challenges facing in the state.
Governor Nwifuru disclosed this Friday during inauguration of Senior special Assistant and Special Assistant at the new Exco Chamber Government house, Ochoudo Centenary City Abakaliki.
He charging them to discharges their duties faithfully, added those on security to ensure that no killings and crises recorded in their verious local government
Governor Nwifuru also maintained that his government is ready to surmount all the challenges facing in the state and vowed to arrest and prosecute any Special assistant found culpable of breaches of security in his local government area.
Governor Nwifuru also solicit for more patience to tackle these challenges facing the state in no distant time, promising to fix all the loopholes soon to make Ebonyi state great.
Governor noted that they are aware of all the challenges facing in the state, while assuring his readiness to surmount all the challenges sooner, adding that with the kind of leaders that we have called to help us for this job will discharging their duties within one or two weeks, that all these issues in the state will be a thing of past.
He said;
“We want them to be more faithful in delivering their jobs, We selected them because they were the first to start this journey, they know what we want from them because they are very much aware of the security challenges we have, he said that he will soon announce his Principal Officers to be sworn in on Tuesday next week
